A Lifelong Passion for Education
So I mainly started helping out fellow immegrants get into tech as most of them are higly intelligent, held high positions in the corporate world back home or even running great businesses. Most of them were university graduates with some of them even having a PHD.
All they needed was getting someone to show them the map into getting a Tech job instead of focusing on menial jobs with strong degrees from their home countries.

How It All Started...
My journey into IT and cybersecurity audit began while I was a stay-at-home mom, initially aiming for a career in the healthcare sector for its stability. After completing my nursing prerequisites and gaining admission to study nursing, I soon realized that the demanding day-to-day responsibilities of a nurse were not the right fit for me. It was during a conversation with a friend that I first learned about the field of cybersecurity audit and compliance. She explained how lucrative the field was, with many remote job opportunities, and highlighted that you don’t need to know how to code or have deep technical expertise to secure a high-paying job. This information was a game-changer for me.
I decided I wanted a career that would allow me to work from home, earn more than I would as a nurse, and still have time to care for my baby. The best part? I didn’t need years of coding experience or multiple technical certifications to achieve a six-figure salary. Once I made up my mind, I let go of the time, money, and effort I had invested in my nursing prerequisites. I was ready for a new challenge and focused on the bigger picture.
Initially, I attempted to self-study, but quickly realized I needed guidance from someone already in the field to help me navigate the right path. I enrolled in a boot camp, only to find that it didn’t provide the practical, hands-on knowledge I needed. As someone who learns best through experience, I bounced from one boot camp to another, wasting money and encountering a mix of useful, unhelpful, and frustrating experiences before I finally landed my first job.
From that point forward, I made a commitment to help others enter this field without the stress and confusion I faced. We focused exclusively on hands-on training, believing it was the most effective way to make the process accessible and comprehensible. Today, we’ve helped countless students break into the IT audit and compliance field, offering them practical knowledge and hands-on guidance until they land their first job in tech

The Best of Both Worlds: Education and Technology
One thing that never left me was my passion for education. Even as I pursued a career in technology, the love of education stayed with me.
I was a teaching assistant and tutor when pursuing my undergraduate degree because I loved teaching people. I was also a graduate student teacher during my Masters for a course that taught freshmen how to succeed in college. To date, I think that was one of my most fulfilling teaching experiences because of the change I saw with many of the students and their attitude to college.
At all of my jobs, I have been involved in teaching various courses to help new and existing employees learn different concepts in IT. This included designing courses and instructing those courses as well.
As I did all this, I realized that the work I did was not rocket science and I did not need all my degrees to do the work.
I often wondered why the companies did not increase their talent pipeline outside the traditional field. What I found out is that the companies actually looked for talent outside of colleges, but the pipeline was very limited and they could hardly find talent elsewhere on a consistent basis.
So, I teamed up with some friends that were already teaching people with little to zero IT background how they could start careers in various IT fields. The results were amazing as people came back with success stories.
This proved to me that training was the key to helping others start IT careers as a way to achieve their personal career goals.
My passion for education finally made sense and I knew I would use it to help those looking for a career in IT.
